Three clear phases. I do not rewrite your app from scratch. I keep what works, fix what is dangerous, and leave you with something a real engineering team can pick up.
Step 1
Audit
Two to three days. I read every file, run the app, and trace the critical paths.
- Full code and security review of the AI-generated codebase.
- Risk report ranked by severity, from secrets in the frontend to silent failures.
- A short call to walk you through what I found.
Step 2
Stabilize
One to two weeks. I fix the top issues and put the boring infrastructure in place.
- Move secrets server-side, tighten auth, patch the bleeding.
- Tests on the paths that actually matter.
- CI/CD on Vercel or similar, plus Sentry for error tracking.
Step 3
Launch & handover
A few days. Your fixed app goes live, and you walk away with a product your next hire can read.
- Architecture doc and a runbook for the common incidents.
- Loom walkthrough of the codebase and the new pipeline.
- Optional ongoing support, monthly or on-demand.
What the audit checks
AI tools write code that works in a demo and breaks under real users. I check the whole flow, from how people log in to what your AI is allowed to do and what ends up in your logs.
Access & authentication
- Sign-up, login and session handling.
- Roles: what admins can do that users cannot.
- API keys and secrets kept off the client.
AI layer safety
- Prompt injection: user input cannot override your instructions.
- System prompts kept separate from user content.
- Limits on what AI agents and tools are allowed to call.
Data & privacy
- What you log, where you store it, and for how long.
- No personal data leaking into logs and payloads.
- A simple way to export or delete a user's data when asked.
Abuse & AI costs
- Rate limits per user, IP and API key.
- Caching and cheaper models where quality allows.
- Alerts when usage or spend looks unusual.

Yes, that is the whole point of this service. I build my own products with AI coding tools too, so I know where they cut corners: duplicated logic, missing auth checks, fragile deploys, zero tests.
How long does a rescue take?+
It starts with a 2-day audit. Most rescues then run two to four weeks, depending on how deep the duct tape goes. You get a written proposal after the first call, no surprises later.
Will you rewrite everything from scratch?+
Almost never. Most AI-built apps are salvageable. I keep what works, fix what is fragile, and only rebuild the parts where a rewrite is genuinely cheaper than patching.
What do I get at the end?+
A production-ready app: a working deployment pipeline, tests on the critical paths, monitoring, security fixes, and a written audit report you can share with co-founders or investors.
Can I get only a security review?+
Yes. The audit covers login and access, secrets, the AI layer, the data in your logs, and rate limits. You get a written report ranked by severity. Fix the issues with your own team, or have me fix them.
